The Owners Love - The current owners have loved the convenience and close proximity of Taunton town centre and all its amenities just a stone throw from the front door. They particularly love “the short distance to pop into town to pick up the essentials or go for food and drinks” which has made life very enjoyable for them. They said “having a double garage providing off road parking has been amazing for us with a young child. It's secure and undercover!” We will mostly miss “the easy access to the Quantock Hills” where there is an abundance of beautiful walks. They have also found the access to the main line railway station and the M5 motorway at junction 25 has also being beneficial.

There is space for a dining table in the middle of the room and skylights above, flooding the room with natural light. The master bedroom is a great size and benefits from dual windows to the front aspect as well as triple built in wardrobes. The second bedroom is situated in the middle of the house and is again a good size with a window to the rear aspect overlooking the garden. The third bedroom is at the rear, again overlooking the garden. The shower room is partially tiled and is fitted with a three-piece suite including WC, washbasin and walk-in shower cubicle. From the landing, there are stairs to the loft bedroom, which is a good size and benefits from windows to both aspects.

George Loves - “I love the fact that this house is ready to move straight into! It has clearly been so well looked after by the current owners and has been prepared perfectly ready for sale. It is unusual to find a house like this, with no work required before its ready to move in. And with a double garage at the rear providing secure parking, it makes this property really stand out from other homes like it. An absolute must see house!”

Taunton and Surrounding area

Fact: Taunton was the first town in the country to be permanently lit by electric street lighting in 1881

Taunton is the County Town of Somerset with the town name deriving from “Town on the River Tone” or “Tone Town” nestled between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills.  Voted as the happiest place to live in the South West according to the Rightmove Happy at Home Index, with the index painting a picture of it as a place where people look after their homes and have time for their neighbours.  Taunton’s bustling Town Centre offers many High Street shops, Bars and Restaurants, however if you are looking for something a little more boutique, we recommend you explore Bath Place and Taunton independent quarter along St James Street.
