The Owner Loves: "We have loved bringing this old bungalow back to life, it has offered so much space and privacy and now provides a beautiful modern home with established wraparound gardens for years to come. Living in a tucked away spot, yet close to all the amenities has been really great. One of our favourite things however is how homely it feels, whatever the season - light, cool and airy in the summertime, to cosy and warm by the fire with the underfloor heating in the wintertime. Entertaining with the open plan living is fantastic too!"

Williton

Fact: The West Somerset Railway runs through Williton and it is the longest private railway in the country, run by a trust. You can watch the steam trains pass here.

Williton is a small town situated on the junctions of the A39 and A358 roads from Minehead to Bridgwater and Taunton. It boasts several shops, two small supermarkets, pubs, café, museum, church, police station and a library.  Williton sits on the edge of the Quantock Hills and is close to The Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park. The name of Williton is Anglo-Saxon and means "estate on the Willet" (river); the Willet is a brook that rises at Willet, flows north through the hamlet of Stream, and close to the former manor house of Williton.
