The Owners Love - The current owners have loved the amount of space the house offers. “We fell in love with the size of the place as soon as we viewed the house!”. They will mostly miss “being able to walk out the door and cross straight into the countryside with the dog”. They have also found having a WC on all three floors to be really useful having young children. They feel the ideal next owners will be a family, looking for lots of living space.

George Loves - “I was blown away by just how deceptive this house is from the outside! It has loads of living space and is super versatile allowing the house to adapt to a variety of families and living styles. I particularly love the open plan kitchen diner, which is a great social area for all the family. It represents excellent value for money in my opinion and is probably one of the best value house types around in terms of “bang for your buck”. An absolute must see house if you’re looking for space!”

Outside, to the rear of the property there is a good size enclosed garden. Initially, there is a patio area, which leads onto an area laid to artificial lawn. There is a raised patio seating area with a timber pergola above. There is then a section with play equipment, which has been made into a play area for the children and has been laid with wood chippings. The rear of the garage is open, giving access to the garage and the driveway in front. The garage has an up and over door and the driveway positioned directly in front of it.

Taunton and Surrounding area

Fact: Taunton was the first town in the country to be permanently lit by electric street lighting in 1881

Taunton is the County Town of Somerset with the town name deriving from “Town on the River Tone” or “Tone Town” nestled between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills.  Voted as the happiest place to live in the South West according to the Rightmove Happy at Home Index, with the index painting a picture of it as a place where people look after their homes and have time for their neighbours.  Taunton’s bustling Town Centre offers many High Street shops, Bars and Restaurants, however if you are looking for something a little more boutique, we recommend you explore Bath Place and Taunton independent quarter along St James Street.
