The cottages were converted in 2007 and recently updated by the current owners, and have been rented out ever since. You enter each cottage through their own private front doors into the living rooms with stairs rising to the first floor with the kitchenettes beneath.

The kitchenettes are equipped with fitted wall and base units with work surfaces over and inset sinks with drainers. There is space and plumbing for a washing machine and an under-counter fridge. The rooms have exposed timbers in the ceiling giving them a traditional cottage feel and an electric, wall mounted heaters.

The Owners Love - The current owners have always rented the cottages out, and have never had a shortage of interest from potential tenants. They said, “We have found them an excellent investment as they have always rented well. They were only converted in 2007 as well so are really low maintenance. That is exactly what we wanted whilst running another business.”

Upstairs, each cottage has a double bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom/shower room respectively, which are fitted with a three-piece suites including WC, washbasin and in cottage 1, a bath with shower over and in cottage 2, a walk in shower cubicle. Cottage 1 has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a cottage style window, which overlooks the garden and parking area below. Cottage two again has a cottage style window looking over neighbouring gardens.

Libby & Charlie Love - “We think the lifestyle these cottages can offer is what sells it to us. It is surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside, the village pub is next door as well and there is a lovely community around the village. If you are looking for a property that will be a great asset in a rural community, then these cottages are surely a must see!”

Outside, to the side of the cottages, there is a small private garden which can be shared by both cottages and an allocated off road parking area. This is enclosed by timber fencing and is one space for each cottage. The village pub is situated next door, which offers an excellent place to enjoy a meal and a drink or two when you don’t fancy cooking.
