Cliddesden is a beautiful village just 3 miles south of Basingstoke with a traditional country pub, The Jolly Farmer, Cliddesden Millenium Village Hall, St Leonard's Church, Cliddesden Primary School and the old post office, now a pottery shop (Pots to Doodle Doo).

Why we love Cliddesden: Having grown up in Cliddesden, it will always have a special place in my heart. I love walking amid the vivid countryside and feel part of a genuine, compassionate community which the village pub is central to. I like to take a stroll through the village and often end up enjoying a drink or two at The Jolly Farmer. Events are regularly held at the village hall such as coffee mornings, summer picnics and a pantomime at Christmas performed by the Cliddesden Players, the local am-dram society.
