After decades in property and more experience than we care to admit, we realised something needed to change. Despite being one of the biggest industries in the UK, estate agency was stuck in the past: outdated marketing, rigid structures, and a focus on profits over people. It was time to reimagine what estate agency could be.

That's why we created Nest Associates, a new kind of estate agency platform built for people, not processes.

We set out to empower passionate, self-employed estate agents to run their own businesses with freedom, creativity, and integrity while giving clients the modern, transparent, and truly personal service they deserve.

Adam Holdsworth

Adam’s career in property began straight out of college starting as a trainee “coffee boy” and working his way up to Regional Director. Over the years, he has managed offices across central London, England, Wales, Ireland, and the Channel Islands, gaining a deep and diverse understanding of the property market from first homes to some of the world’s most prestigious addresses. Proud of the team and reputation he’s built, Adam thrives on the fast-paced energy of estate agency and is driven by a clear purpose: to create a company unlike any other one where people, not profits, come first. His passion lies in discovering exceptional property professionals, empowering them to reach their goals, and helping them build sustainable, successful businesses of their own.

Gemma Holdsworth

Co-Founder & Director

Gemma’s love for property began at just 19, when she and her now-husband, Adam, bought their first home to renovate. What started as a passion project quickly turned into a decade-long career as a property developer in her hometown of Taunton, where she honed her eye for design, detail, and potential. Her journey then led her into estate agency, selling some of the Westcountry’s most beautiful homes and representing high-net-worth clients. But it didn’t take long for Gemma to see that the industry was crying out for change that the buying and selling experience could be more personal, more transparent, and even enjoyable.

George Bailey

Co-Founder & Director

George is the only director who still has boots on the ground, working as an associate in Taunton as well as assisting with the day to day running of the business. With over 15 years of experience working within the industry, George brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to Nest Associates by keeping in touch with the market. Throughout his career, he’s remained passionate about one thing above all else delivering the very best service for his clients. Motivated by a desire to build something better, George helped co-found Nest Associates a company that truly puts clients first while giving agents the independence and flexibility to deliver an outstanding, personal experience every time.

With over three decades of experience working with some of the UK’s largest retailers, Joseph has built an impressive career specialising in design and marketing. Over the years, Joseph has focused on high-end brand and identity design, collaborating with major fashion labels, global television networks, and leading publications around the world.

Recognised internationally for his creativity, drive, and expertise, Joseph brings a wealth of experience in premium advertising and promotional design ensuring every visual element of Nest Associates reflects the quality and innovation at the heart of the brand.
