The Owners Love - The current owners have really enjoyed the open outlook and fields just outside the front door. They have loved how open it is without lots of other properties nearby and how quiet its is as a result with only a handful of neighbours. They particularly love “the loft coversion which has given us two more double bedrooms and another en-suite” which has made life very easy for them when family and friends have been to visit. They will mostly miss “the easy access to the Taunton and Bridgwater Canal” which they frequently use for family dog walks. They have also found the “two good local pubs ideal for a quick drink or bite to eat when they don’t fancy cooking” really useful. The access to the M5 motorway at junction 25 has also being really beneficial.
The living room is situated at the front of the house and enjoys an attractive outlook over the field in front. There is an opening to the dining area, giving it an open feel and allowing natural light to enter from both aspects. There is a feature fireplace and the current owners have wall mounted the television on the chimneybreast.
Upstairs, on the first floor landing, there is an airing cupboard, stairs to the top floor and doors to three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, dressing room and has a window overlooking the fields to the front. There are two further bedrooms with one at the rear over looking the rear garden and the other at the front overlooking the field opposite. The family bathroom is partially tiled and is fitted with a four-piece suite, including WC, washbasin and bath and shower cubicle.
On the second floor, there is a landing with dual aspect skylights, and doors to two further bedrooms. Both rooms are a good size, with skylights to the rear aspect and windows to the front, enjoying lovely views over the surrounding fields and farmland. Both rooms have storage space in the eves and one bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC and wash basin.
George Loves - “I was blown away by just how spacious the house is! There is so much space and it is very versatile and can be utilised in many ways. I also love the outlook from the front. You can’t find many houses these days with this kind of position, yet still close to all the modern day amenities. It makes this property really stand out as something extra special. An absolute must see house!”
Outside, to the rear of the property there is a lovely low maintenance and secluded garden, which enjoys a good degree of privacy. Initially, there is a brick-paved patio area, with a section laid to chippings, all enclosed with walled boarders. The southerly garden aspect is ideal to soak up the afternoon sun on a nice summers afternoon. There is a door with access into the garage from the garden and side access around to the brick-paved driveway in front of the house for multiple vehicles. The frontage is made up of a brick paved driveway and a section laid to lawn.
