The property has been recently redecorated and the vendors will provide a cash back allowance upon completion, to cover the cost of new carpets (as per quote the vendors have obtained) to the uncarpeted rooms, allowing the new owner brand new carpets to their choice of style and colour!

Situated conveniently just a stone's throw from the local amenities in Williton with excellent road links to the towns of Watchet, Taunton, Bridgwater and Minehead.

Ross loves: This property is incredibly good value for the space on offer, and will suit a number of buyers, particularly first time buyers looking for a spacious home and those seeking to invest, as the property would offer an attractive rental return. In addition, I feel that the opportunity for buyers to have the cash back allowance for a choice on the new carpets is a rarity, meaning they can instil their style into the property from day one, without breaking the bank!

The owners love: One of our favourite features of the house is the space it offers. Being a 1930’s property, the rooms are all a very generous size, making it ideal for when family are visiting, but not to big for just the two of us either! We also love the location, just on the edge of the village with all the facilities on our doorstep, together with easy access onto the main roads, to all of the surrounding towns.

The accommodation in brief comprises; entrance porch opening into a spacious reception hall with stairs to the first floor, under stairs cupboard and doors to the ground floor rooms. The sitting room is located at the front of the property overlooking the front garden. To the rear of the property is a generous kitchen/diner with access to a WC and onto the garden. There is also a sizeable second reception room, currently arranged as a dining room, with an outlook over the rear garden.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, two of which are very spacious double bedrooms and the third is a single bedroom with cleverly designed fitted bed, with integral storage under. The bathroom is a particular feature of the house having been recently upgraded, and now enjoys a large walk in shower enclosure, claw foot slipper bath, WC and bespoke vanity unit with wash basin.

Outside there are gardens to the front and rear. To the front of the property is a low maintenance gravelled area, interspersed with planted flowers and shrubs together with a concrete pathway which leads to the front door. To the rear is a generous garden predominantly laid to lawn, with a gravelled parking area and concrete patio. The garden is mostly enclosed by tall and recently replaced feather edge fencing, which provides a good degree of privacy.

Fact: The West Somerset Railway runs through Williton and it is the longest private railway in the country, run by a trust. You can watch the steam trains pass here.

Williton is a small town situated on the junctions of the A39 and A358 roads from Minehead to Bridgwater and Taunton. It boasts several shops, two small supermarkets, pubs, café, museum, church, police station and a library.  Williton sits on the edge of the Quantock Hills and is close to The Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park. The name of Williton is Anglo-Saxon and means "estate on the Willet" (river); the Willet is a brook that rises at Willet, flows north through the hamlet of Stream, and close to the former manor house of Williton.
