Bradninch is a historic town lying just off the B3181, a few miles from Cullompton and Junction 28 of the M5 motorway. The town lies along the valley of the river Culm and is surrounded by farmland which is predominately owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. Within Bradninch, Ye Olde White Lion and The Castle Hotel both hold local music events and serve traditional pub food, with the Merry Harriers just a short drive away in Westcott.

Bradninch has a strong sense of community, with many events, festivals and fairs being held in the town throughout the year. Nearby attractions include Bear Trail (Devon’s muddiest family assault course), indoor play venue – Bear Town, Devon Laser Clays, Footgolf Devon, and Quad World.

The Duchy town has a primary school, The Duchy School, which is rated as ‘Outstanding' by Ofsted, and feeds into the nearby secondary school, Cullompton Community College. The town also has a church, doctor surgery, Post Office, Spar Convenience shop, and garages.

Why we love Bradninch: “The town has a strong music and arts tradition, showcased in the annual Music Festival which takes place in June.”
